Today started out how all weekends should--at noon. And it continued to get better from there. After cooking up a tasty zucchini black bean frittata, which couldn't have been so tastefully mastered without the "seasoned"--meaning Rosemary and Basil--mind of one Mr. Anthony Kokinos, my new roommate, Lara, and I went down to the Umbrian-Provencal Market and wandered through the packs of people, lavender wafting and mixing with the aromas of fresh cheese and salami. I even found the perfect yellow and blue apron to save my clothes from further destruction. (One thing I've learned is that I'm a little bit of a hurricane in the kitchen).
And now I'm sitting in the most peaceful working environment: Yann Tiersen serenading thoughts from my mind, candles flickering on the table and tea. If this is what work is, then well life is quite sublime.
