When I am old, I shall keep wearing flip flops

rain 66 °F

For now, the travel sandals are tucked most disheveldly under my bed and the next plane trip will probably be en route to American soil, so I thought in the following month I'd share more of everyday life and attempting to process leaving one home to go to another.

Today, while I was so masterfully practicing the art of procrastination, I shuffled around in my striped pajamas with my camera in hand trying to capture the wonderfully funky aspects of this place that make it the WG (Wohngemeinschat a.k.a. apartment) I have come to know beyond the old--not to be mistaken for "oh how quaint" old, but legitimately time to renovate old--building that it is.
